Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was reinstated from his indefinite suspension on Wednesday, two days after meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

For bettors, the star pass rusher's presence should make a big difference in how they approach Week 1, and it could boost Cleveland's standing in the NFL odds.

The schedule has not been released, but the Browns are +4000 to win the Super Bowl in the latest NFL odds at Westgate, while they are +2000 to win the AFC. Garrett is one of numerous players getting +10000 odds to win the league MVP.

Many books have the Browns' win total set at eight, with the over set at -105 and the under at -125.

Garrett was suspended indefinitely after a Week 11 game against Pittsburgh. During a brawl late in the game, the linebacker ripped off Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph's helmet and swung it at him.

The Browns beat Pittsburgh 21-7 in that Week 11 game and won their next game to win three in a row, but they lost four of their last five to finish the season 6-10.

Garrett appealed the decision and accused Rudolph of inciting him with a racial slur, a charge Rudolph denied, but the suspension was upheld.

The No. 1 pick by the Browns in the 2017 draft, Garrett missed six games, the second-longest suspension in league history behind Vontaze Burfict's 12 games after a series of what were deemed to be dirty plays.

DraftKings lists Cleveland as the third choice to win the AFC North at +550, trailing the Baltimore Ravens (-177) and the Steelers (+275). The Browns are +1500 at DraftKings to represent the conference in the Super Bowl and +1400 at FanDuel.

The 24-year-old was having a great season for the Browns before his suspension. He was tied for fourth in the NFL with 10 sacks and tied for seventh with 18 quarterback hits.

The former Texas A&M standout has 30.5 career sacks, and only 10 players in the league have more than Garrett over the past three seasons.
