Raiders fans will be more fired up for this matchup in L.A. than they were last year, when it came on the tail-end of a lost season. The Raiders have shown they can move the ball through the air, ranking seventh in pass DVOA and fifth in net yards per attempt. That leaves the back door open if we need it, and a Chargers kicking game that continues to have major issues could shave enough points to also give us an edge. My ratings say this line makes sense, but I wouldn't trust the Chargers to cover a big number against anyone but the Bills at this point.

Perhaps the Chargers took the Jimmy Garoppolo-less 49ers a bit for granted on Sunday. If they did, my simulations say they won't do it again against the Raiders, who are coming off an emotional overtime win over the Browns.
