Can't say I love playing a team in the second of a B2B like Brooklyn, but the Wizards are super-thin up front with Kyle Kuzma and Jonas Valanciunas traded today and Alex Sarr still out injured. So in theory the Nets should absolutely dominate the boards and in the paint. And they welcome back second-leading scorer Cameron Johnson for the first time in about two weeks, and Ben Simmons will play after sitting last night. So there are some fresh legs.
Look at these Nets, who just completed back-to-back wins over the high-flying Rockets! (Sheesh!) Success has been happening more frequently of late for Brooklyn since Jordi Fernandez slowed down the pace a bit and began to stress more patience on the Brooklyn end. Onetime Blazer Keon Johnson and ex-Laker D'Angelo Russell helped key last night's 99-97 win over Houston. Across the last seven games, Brooklyn is also allowing only 100 ppg. Interestingly, lowly Washington enters tonight having won two in a row itself, on the road no less (Minnesota and Charlotte). Who would have thought the Wiz and Nets would be meeting, each on win streaks? Though it's Brooklyn's seven straight unders that looks like the angle to track. Play Wizards-Nets Under.

FanDuel. With Kyle Kuzma shipped out to Milwaukee, the Wizards rebuild is in full swing. One key piece of the young core is Bilal Coulibaly. After a down few weeks, Coulibaly has resurfaced with two straight strong games (23 and 34 PRA, in 37 minutes each contest). Not only should his minutes floor stay high, but he’s cleared this line in 10/16 without Kuzma this season. It’s a fantastic matchup for him as well against a nets team that is bottom 5 in both transition and spot-up points. And I’m happy to jump on this early, as it wouldn’t shock me to see the Wizards other veterans (namely Jonas Valanciunas and Malcolm Brogdon) ruled out tonight as the trade deadline nears.

With Kyle Kuzma traded today to Milwaukee, that should open up some additional shot attempts for Jordan Poole. He averages 20.3 PPG but had only 8 Monday in Charlotte as Poole runs very hot-and-cold. In seven games this year without Kuzma next to him, Poole averages 22.3 PPG.
