Really nice afternoon in MLB and was prepared to be done, but have to throw a half-unit down here because the only truly good hitter the Nationals still have who is healthy is CJ Abrams (.279, 29 HR, 91 RBI), and he's sitting. An utterly anonymous lineup now against Jacob deGrom. Peak Jacob deGrom, this number is -267. But he's a long way from that, just a pretty good pitcher these days. And shaky lately so why this is manageable, but he has been better overall at the Globe with a 2.93 ERA. If Abrams were playing, I likely am not.
