Made a similar late play yesterday because of some Brewers lineup news, and I don't love that group today with Brice Turang (among out Tuesday) and William Contreras sitting -- plus the two regulars (Chourio and Vaughn) already on the injured list. It's the MLB pitching debut of Milwaukee's Shane Drohan, and if he didn't make the Show until age 27 then he's clearly not a touted guy. Drohan failed to make the team out of spring training and was acquired in the offseason in a six-player deal with Boston. So the Red Sox should have a great scouting report on their former guy. Certainly on paper prefer the Sox's Sonny Gray, who goes today and threw a quality start last time out.
