Caesar’s. Spencer Strider’s strikeout numbers have fallen off a cliff. The righty has remained under this line in each of his last six starts, with only 17 punch outs in 28.2 innings. This includes facing the Cubs in his last start, only registering one strikeout with three whiffs. He’ll face the Cubs again tonight - the North-Siders have the ninth lowest strikeout rate against righties over the last month (20.8%), and the third lowest called plus swinging strike rate overall.
