Starter J.P. Sears has shined with a 1.59 ERA in September, but once this game gets to the bullpens the Mariners have a major advantage.

The Mariners have lost three straight, so a series against the Athletics could be just what the doctor ordered. They are 9-1 against them this season. They will turn to Bryan Woo to start, who threw six shutout innings against the Athletics less than a month ago. Starting for the A’s will be JP Sears, who has a 5.06 FIP for the season.
