Both of the starting pitchers in this game have struggled. Jordan Lyles has given up at least four runs in 12 of his 14 starts, leaving him with a 6.89 ERA. Reese Olson had a 6.38 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP over 10 starts at Triple-A this year, and was torched for seven runs (six earned) over 3 1/3 innings against the Braves in his last start. Despite both of these lineups struggling this season, the starting pitching matchup still makes me like the over.

It's Jordan Lyles Day! Unless you are new to MLB betting, I shouldn't even have to explain why fading Kansas City on Monday is the choice with the right-hander on the mound. Lyles is not this bad, honestly, and had some trade value entering this year -- that's why he was signed by KC -- and 2023 Detroit isn't exactly the 1984 Tigers, but we buy another ticket on the Fade Express.
