The A's had a rare offensive explosion tonight in Pittsburgh to pull the upset -- well, they are up big as I write this and I'm assuming they finish. I don't have a ton of faith in Bucs pitcher Roansy Contreras for Wednesday's matinee, but I have to take this number -- which opened at -190 (Pittsburgh was nearly -280 tonight). We won't get this cheap of an ML opposite the A's in road games much this year. In fact, Oakland's +140 underdog number is its second-shortest on the road so far in 2023 behind one game in Kansas City in early May. The A's are expected to go with a bullpen day.
