Nolan Gorman is making his MLB debut for the Cardinals and he is one of the top prospects in the league. He should not only help the team, but his presence should give the team a little bit of an energy boost tonight. Adam Wainwright has already pitched 6 scoreless against the Pirates this season. I like the value in the Cards on the road.

The Cardinals appear to be struggling for the time being, having lost eight of their last 12, but they won a series over the Giants and fought hard in three of the four games against a great Mets team in their last two series. Playing the Pirates is a different story. The Pirates have the worst run differential in baseball and even if you lop off that 21-0 loss to the Cubs, only the Reds are worse. Pirates starter Zach Thompson has actually been great in May, but it's a small sample and the Cardinals offense will get a nice boost with top prospect Nolan Gorman's debut.
