WNBA odds, lines, picks: Proven experts reveal parlay for July 12 that would pay almost 6-1

Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai went 590-430 on their women's NCAA basketball picks this season, and now they are focused on the WNBA. They have identified a three-leg parlay for Tuesday that would pay almost 6-1

The Las Vegas Aces (15-7) attempt to maintain their hold on first place in the Western Conference when they visit the New York Liberty (9-13) on Tuesday, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Las Vegas owns a half-game lead over the Seattle Storm (15-8), who host the Dallas Wings (10-12) at 3 p.m. ET in another of the five games on the WNBA schedule.

Caesars Sportsbook lists Las Vegas as a seven-point favorite in the latest Aces vs. Liberty odds, and the over/under for total points scored is 173.5. Seattle is a 7.5-point favorite in the Storm vs. Wings odds, with an over/under of 161.5 points, according to Caesars.

Before you make any WNBA picks or parlays, you NEED to see what women's basketball experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai are saying.

Barzilai is a Ph.D. from Stanford who served as Director of Basketball Analytics for the Philadelphia 76ers. Five years ago, he founded HerHoopStats.com -- a groundbreaking website that unlocks insights about the women's game. Wetzel, the site's lead betting writer, incorporates his mathematical background and strong knowledge of women's hoops to turn the site's prediction model into picks.

Now, Barzilai and Wetzel have turned their attention to the WNBA after going 590-430 overall (+127.40 units, +13.6 percent) during the 2021-22 women's college basketball season. Anyone who has followed them has seen HUGE returns.

Wetzel and Barzilai have scoured the rosters and broken down the matchups for Tuesday's games. They have revealed a three-leg parlay that could lead to a payout of almost 6-1.

We can tell you that one part of the parlay is the Washington Mystics (-4.5) covering the spread in their game against the host Los Angeles Sparks. Washington has won three of its last four contests, with two of the victories coming by 18 or more points.

The experts have two other strong plays that MUST be in your three-leg parlays, including a point-spread underdog that should be backed. You ABSOLUTELY need to see the experts' selections before locking in any WNBA picks or parlays.

So which point-spread underdog is a MUST-BACK? And what other picks are the experts sharing? ... Join SportsLine right now to find out which picks you should be all over on Tuesday, all from the experts who know the women's game inside and out!

Here are Wetzel and Barzilai's best bets for Tuesday's WNBA schedule:

    DALLAS WINGS at SEATTLE STORM | 7/12 | 3 P.M. ET

    Pick: Dallas +7.5

This is a perfect spot for Dallas as it comes out of the All-Star break. The Wings have excelled as road underdogs over the past two seasons, going 15-6 against the spread in those situations.

Furthermore, Seattle has regressed after big wins in the last two years. The Storm are 7-15 ATS after they cover and 4-11 following a triumph by at least 12 points. Coming off of a massive 37-point victory against Los Angeles, look for Seattle to allow Dallas to keep this one close.

    PHOENIX MERCURY at MINNESOTA LYNX | 7/12 | 8 P.M. ET

    Pick: Over 164.5

The Lynx entered the break with one of the hottest offenses in the league, and there's no reason to believe they can't keep it up. The Under has hit in just six of the 17 games in which point guard Moriah Jefferson has played, so with her in the lineup, Minnesota's offense should be clicking again.

On the Mercury's side, this line seems to be an overreaction to a few recent poor-shooting performances. Phoenix has failed to surpass 30 percent shooting from long distance in each of its three games this month, but it eclipsed that mark in 12 of its previous 13 contests - including both prior matchups with Minnesota. This is one of the lowest lines in a Mercury game in the last month, so take advantage.

    WASHINGTON MYSTICS at LOS ANGELES SPARKS | 7/12 | 10:30 P.M. ET

    Pick: Washington -4.5

Elena Delle Donne will be healthy and rested following the All-Star break, so Washington should have a big boost. While three of the Sparks' four players who missed time before the break will be back for this contest, it shouldn't be enough to stay within a possession of one of the better teams in the league.

The Mystics will be looking for revenge after a narrow 84-82 loss in the last meeting, one they felt they should have won. Delle Donne didn't play in that matchup and it still came down to the wire, so bet on Washington pulling away this time around.
