Melting ice won't be a concern at the 2022 NHL Winter Classic as sub-zero temperatures are expected at Target Field for Saturday's matchup between the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues. A high of -1 degrees is being predicted in Minneapolis the day of the outdoor contest while the low could reach -13. Minnesota is a slight -115 favorite (risk $115 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Wild vs. Blues odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total goals scored is set at six (see the latest lines for every game on our NHL odds page).

Before making any Blues vs. Wild picks, you NEED to see the latest NHL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NHL game 10,000 times. It has crushed its top-rated NHL money-line picks this season, going 52-37, returning well over $700 on $100 bets. Anybody following it is way up.

The model knows Minnesota has fallen out of first place in the Central Division thanks to a four-game winless streak (0-3-1). The Wild, who have been idle since a 7-4 defeat at Dallas on Dec. 20, haven't tasted victory since a 5-2 triumph at San Jose on Dec. 9 gave them an eight-game winning streak. Russian left wing Kirill Kaprizov is among the league leaders with 36 points in 30 games and has recorded half of his total over his last 11 contests.

The model also knows St. Louis owns a one-point lead over Minnesota in the Central after skating to a 4-2 home victory against Edmonton on Wednesday. The Blues have earned at least one point in seven of their last eight games (6-1-1) while Vladimir Tarasenko has scored five goals during his current four-game streak, adding four assists during the run. St. Louis went 1-for-4 on the power play against the Oilers and is one of the top teams in the NHL with the man advantage, converting 29.4 percent of its opportunities.

Now, the model has set its sights on Wild vs. Blues. We can tell you it's leaning Over, but it also says one side of the money line has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NHL picks of your own.

So who wins Wild vs. Blues in the 2022 NHL Winter Classic? And which side of the money line has all the value? ...
