UFC Fight Night odds, picks: Seasoned MMA analyst reveals selections for Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo and other Iowa matchups on May 3
SportsLine MMA expert Kyle Marley has released his predictions for Saturday's UFC card at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa
The Ultimate Fighting Championship: Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo heads to Iowa on Saturday. The main card begins at 10 p.m. ET from the Wells Fargo Arena, with the event highlighted by the bantamweight bout between fourth-ranked Cory Sandhagen and fifth-ranked Deiveson Figueiredo. Sandhagen is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC on ABC: Sandhagen vs. Nurmagomedov last August. Figueiredo, meanwhile, lost a unanimous decision to Petr Yan at UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Figueiredo this past November. Cory Sandhagen (17-5) is the -500 favorite (risk $500 to win $100) in the latest UFC odds, while Figueiredo (24-4) is the +380 underdog (risk $100 to win $380).
Also on the UFC Fight Night card is a middleweight clash between Reinier De Ridder (19-2) and Bo Nickal (7-0). De Ridder has won his last three bouts, while Nickal has won all four of his matches since joining UFC two years ago. Nickal is the -340 favorite, with De Ridder coming in at +270. Before locking in your UFC Fight Night picks, you NEED to see the latest MMA predictions from SportsLine MMA analyst Kyle Marley.
Over the past three-plus years, $100 bettors who have followed Marley's picks are up nearly $10,000, and since May 2018, he has returned well over $21,000!
The accomplished MMA analyst has provided consistent winners for SportsLine members for the past five years. His accomplishments include hitting five consecutive main-event underdog winners in 2020 following the UFC's brief pause in action because of the pandemic. He also went 11-3 on his picks at last week's UFC card. Anyone who has followed Marley could be way up.
This week at UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo, Marley is backing Yana Santos (+120) in a women's bantamweight bout versus Miesha Tate (-142) in a preliminary matchup. "Tate is the better grappler, but I don't know that she is the better wrestler of the two," Marley said. "Whoever is in top control on the ground is who I'd like on the mat, and that could go either way. I do like Santos to have the striking edge though and that is why I'll pick her to win two rounds on the cards."
Marley also has strong picks for Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo and other bouts on the UFC Fight Night card. He's also backing a favorite who has "the striking edge" and can "put him away early." You MUST see his UFC picks before making any of your own.
