UFC Fight Night odds, picks: Seasoned MMA analyst reveals selections for Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena and other Montreal matchups on May 10
SportsLine MMA expert Kyle Marley has released his predictions for Saturday's UFC card at the Bell Centre in Montreal
The Ultimate Fighting Championship: Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena heads to Canada on Saturday. The main card begins at 10 p.m. ET from the Bell Centre in Montreal, with the event highlighted by the welterweight bout between Belal Muhammad and fifth-ranked Jack Della Maddalena. Muhammad is coming off a unanimous decision win over Leon Edwards at UFC 304 last July. Della Maddalena, meanwhile, defeated Gilbert Burns by knockout at UFC 299 in March 2024. Muhammad (24-3) is the -180 favorite (risk $180 to win $100) in the latest UFC odds, while Della Maddalena (17-2) is the +145 underdog (risk $100 to win $145).
Also on the UFC Fight Night card is a women's flyweight clash between Valentina Shevchenko (24-4) and Manon Fiorot (12-1). Shevchenko is 1-1-1 in her last three bouts, while Fiorot has won her last 12 matches. Fiorot is the -135 favorite, with Shevchenko coming in at +114. His accomplishments include hitting five consecutive main-event underdog winners in 2020 following the UFC's brief pause in action because of the pandemic. He also went 8-4 on his picks at last week's UFC card. Anyone who has followed Marley could be way up.
This week at UFC Fight Night: Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena, Marley is backing Bekzat Almakhan (-170) in a bantamweight bout versus Brad Katona (+142) in an early preliminary matchup. "Katona is a well-rounded fighter, but he isn't great anywhere," Marley said. "He could make this a close fight and win on the cards if he is able to mix in takedowns. I like Almakhan to be the better and more dangerous striker though. I'll take him to keep this fight on the feet long enough to win 29-28 if he doesn't get a TKO first."
Marley also has strong picks for Muhammad vs. Della Maddalena and other bouts on the UFC Fight Night card. He's also backing a favorite who will "avoid the big early shots and get a knockout of his own" You MUST see his UFC picks before making any of your own.
