Today's top picks: Why the Red Sox will beat the Blue Jays and more MLB, NBA and Euro 2020 expert bets for Sunday, June 13

Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Justin Perri and Larry Hartstein on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for Major League Baseball, the NBA and Euro 2020 for Sunday, June 13.

Coach starts things off with three SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is in the NBA: The Nuggets (+3.5) to cover against the Suns (8 p.m. ET). In Euro 2020, the plays are Austria (-135) to beat North Macedonia (12 p.m. ET) and both teams to score (+120) in the Ukraine-Netherlands match (3 p.m. ET). 

Perri then chimes in with his trio of picks, all in MLB. The first is the Astros and Twins to go Over 9.5 runs at +100 (2:10 p.m. ET). "Michael Pineda (of the Twins) hasn't been all that great," he says. "I think the Houston Astros are going to come out in this one and really just destroy (Minnesota)."

His second play is Under 8.5 runs in the Royals-Athetics game (4:07 p.m. ET). "The Oakland Coliseum is one of the worst places to hit," Perri says. "I also really like (Oakland's) Chris Bassitt. He's been nothing short of nasty in his last couple starts."

Perri's final play is the Red Sox (+115) to beat the Blue Jays (1:10 p.m. ET). "I think they've been a little bit underrated recently," he says of Boston. "They are one of the better offenses."

Hartstein's two plays also are in MLB, with the first being the Astros (-140) to beat the Twins. "It's a good bounce-back spot (for Houston)," he says. "This team was held to five hits yesterday (and) two runs."

Larry's second play is Houston's Framber Valdez going Over 6.5 strikeouts (+110). "Last two starts, both against the Red Sox, dominant performances - eight Ks and 10 Ks," Hartstein says.
