Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure and Zack Cimini on the Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for Major League Baseball, the NBA, NHL, golf and soccer for Saturday, May 29.

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first comes in the NHL: the Bruins (-160) to beat the Islanders (8 p.m. ET) in Game 1 of their playoff series. "The Bruins really were good in the season series against the Islanders," Coach says.

The second Play of the Day is Manchester City to score Over 1.5 goals (+120) in the Champions League final against Chelsea (3 p.m. ET).

McClure's two picks both come from the MLB. The first is the Phillies (+110) to beat the Rays (1:10 p.m. ET). "[Phillies starter Zack Wheeler] is not allowing much hard contact," McClure says. "He is keeping the ball in the yard. Now he gets a very friendly place to pitch."

He also likes the Yankees (-129) to beat the Tigers (4:10 p.m. ET). "[The Yankees] are still a top-five offense in Major League Baseball," McClure says. "Now they're finally healthy again."

Coach then jumps in with two head-to-head matchups from the third round of the Charles Schwab Challenge. The first is Jordan Spieth (-150) over Jason Kokrak (3:10 p.m. ET). "[Spieth] is hitting it better than everybody in the field," Coach says. He adds, "I think Spieth cashes this easily."

The second pick is Charley Hoffman (-137) over Adam Hadwin (2:40 p.m. ET). "Hadwin did shoot a 66 on Friday, but it was a lot of smoke and mirrors," Coach says. "His Strokes Gained numbers across the board were poor."

Cimini's first play comes in the NBA: the Grizzlies' Kyle Anderson (-115) to score Over 12.5 points (9:30 p.m. ET). "You go back to late March -- two games the Jazz and Grizzlies played -- Anderson led them in scoring in one game and scored 18 in the other," Cimini says.

Cimini closes things out with the Nuggets (+4.5) to cover against the Blazers (4 p.m. ET). "I just think the Nuggets are the better balanced team right now," Cimini says. "Damian Lillard is taking way too many shots."
