Jonathan Coachman is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the NBA, NASCAR and Major League Baseball for Sunday, April 18.

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is in Major League Baseball: the Reds (+135) over the Indians (1:10 p.m. ET). "(Cincinnati's Wade Miley) is 2-0 (with) 11 scoreless innings so far this season," Coach says. "He's been solid."

The second Play of the Day is in the NBA: the Knicks +1 over the Pelicans (1 p.m. ET).  "They have been absolutely red hot," Coach says of New York. "They're playing really good basketball."

McClure begins his plays in MLB, as he has the Phillies -1.5 (+115) over the Cardinals (1:05 p.m. ET). "We want to continue to pick on the St. Louis Cardinals' pitching staff," he says. "The bullpen is beat up for them as well."

His next pick is in NASCAR: Joey Logano (-105) over Chase Elliott in the Toyota Owners 400 (3 p.m. ET). "Logano and the Penske cars are much better on the short tracks than Chase Elliott is at this point, especially here at Richmond," McClure says.

Hartstein's first play is a prop pick in the NBA: Sacramento's Buddy Hield Over 3.5 made 3-pointers (-150) when the Kings take on the Mavericks (7:30 p.m. ET). "He's cashed this in six straight, he's cashed in 10 of 12," Hartstein says. "(The Mavericks) give up over 13 treys a game, (they're) 22nd in the league in terms of made treys allowed."

Hartstein closes things out with a play in MLB: the Athletics (-14) over the Tigers (4:07 p.m. ET). "First three games of the series, the A's have won by a combined 18-4 (score)," he says. "They've shut them out the last two times."
