Today's top picks: Orioles vs. Royals Over 9.5 is among best bets, plus more MLB, soccer and UFC 275 MMA picks for Saturday, June 11

Allan Bell is joined by Mike McClure and Alex "PropStarz" Selesnick and has picks from Andrew Gombas on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The crew runs through the storylines and betting trends, with Mike offering up a weather report on the heat wave that will increase run-scoring across MLB. Alex breaks down what he calls "a legacy performance" by Steph Curry in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, as he put up 43 points and had 10 rebounds in Golden State's victory to tie the series.      

Allan then offers up the SportsLine Plays of the Day, with the first coming from soccer insider Martin Green on the UEFA Nations League. Green is backing England -125 in the Italy vs. England match (2:45 p.m. ET), and he also is making a half-unit play on Both Teams to Score (+105).   

The third Play of the Day is from the MLS Nashville FC vs. San Jose Earthquakes match (8 p.m. ET), where the site is backing Both Teams to Score (-130). San Jose has scored in five straight matches but has allowed 32 goals in its 14 games.

Mike steps in with his MLB pick, and he is going Over 9.5 on the full-game total (-110) in the Orioles vs. Royals game (4:10 p.m. ET). "Not great starting pitching on either side," McClure says, and the Royals' bullpen is awful and the Orioles have been using up their relievers lately. The weather also will be conducive to hitting, with high humidity and the wind blowing out.

PropStarz also has an MLB pick, and of course it's a prop play. He is backing Houston starter Framber Valdez Over 5.5 strikeouts in the Marlins vs. Astros matchup (4:10 p.m. ET). "He has gone over this total in four of his last six starts," Selesnick says, "facing a Miami Marlins team, highest K rate in the majors against opposing left-handed pitchers." 

Gombas was unable to make the show but got his picks in for UFC 275. He has two plays, betting on the light heavyweight main event between Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira to go Under 2.5 rounds (-175). Andrew also is on Steve Garcia -155 over Hayisaer Maheshate in their lightweight preliminary bout.
