Jonathan Coachman is joined by featured sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The trio delivers their favorite picks for MLB, the NBA  and NHL for Thursday, April 15.

The Coach stresses that so many star performers are being held out of NBA games at this point of the regular season, causing much frustration among bettors. Larry has a unique solution to the issue. Mike has the needed updates for today, including the outlooks for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young, Collin Sexton, the Kings, Lakers and more. He then sprinkles in a very interesting MLB trend regarding underdogs to finish up the SportsLine storylines of the day.

The SportsLine Play of the Day is from the NHL. as the Coach is endorsing the selection of the Bruins -125 over the Islanders at 7 p.m. ET. New York has owned Boston so far this season, but there are some key numbers that indicate the Bruins can flip the script on Thursday.

Mike issues his duo of MLB picks, going back to the Rays at -1.5 over the Rangers at 7:10 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay will support Rich Hill well against Jordan Lyles. He also has a very interesting angle on his Jacob deGrom prop pick. The weather is going to play a major role in keeping deGrom Under 9.5 strikeouts. First pitch in Mets-Phillies is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. ET.

Larry supplies another winning NBA prop, going with DeAndre Ayton over 10.5 rebounds in Kings-Suns at 10 p.m. ET. Ayton will dominate the Kings inside, as they are missing Richaun Holmes. In MLB, Larry is recommending the White Sox and Indians to go Under eight runs. Lance Lynn opposes Aaron Civale at 2:10 p.m. ET. "You look at this series, and there have been 17 total runs, and that includes an extra inning game in three games," he says. "You have Lance Lynn, who has not given up a run. Aaron Civale has also been excellent for Cleveland. I see some of the juice coming in on the under. I'm going to go Under eight in White Sox-Indians."
