Today's picks: Why you should take the under in Cubs-Giants, plus more MLB, NBA and PGA picks for Thursday

The Coach then provides the SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts. in the NBA playoffs, he recommends the pick of the Suns +2 over the Lakers at 10:30 p.m. ET. We may be on the verge of entering a second round without both of the Los Angeles teams. He also delivers a pick from Larry Hartstein, who is taking the Rockies again at +101 over the Rangers at 3:10 p.m. ET. Texas' road issues have continued to persist and won't end Thursday. 

Mike's featured MLB selection is the Cubs and Giants over 8.5 runs at 9:45 p.m. ET. "Anthony Desclafani is on the mound, and he has a .270 wOBA. Looking at the expected numbers, it's only a .294 xWOBA, making him an above-average starting pitcher," he says. "This is the most friendly pitching environment in Major League Baseball. It's the most difficult place to hit a home run in by a considerable margin. Zach Davies has really struggled, but this is a huge park shift for him."

We also get a trio of Memorial Tournament plays from the Coach. He is taking Cameron Smith +110 over a struggling Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland -125 over Patrick Cantlay, who is not looking good at all. He also is riding with Joaquin Niemann at -105 over Scheffler.
