Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure, Martin W. Green and Allan Bell on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for the MLB, soccer and tennis for Wednesday, Sept. 7, and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.
McClure starts things off with a tennis play from the U.S. Open: Over 39.5 total games (-115) in the Carlos Alcaraz-Jannik Sinner match (8:15 p.m. ET). "I think this number should be 42.5," he says. He adds, "They're both coming off grueling five-set matches."
Green has two soccer plays. The first is Tottenham's Harry Kane to score (+100) against Marseille (3 p.m. ET). "The England captain has five goals in six Premier League games so far this season," he says. "He really should be surging with confidence."
His second play is Bayern Munich on a three-way money line (-118) against Inter Milan (3 p.m. ET). "The Nerazzurri already have conceded eight goals in five matches, which is worrying form, and they're currently eighth in Serie A," he says.
Coach chimes in with his Cash With The Coach play: the Rockies (+1.5) to cover against the Brewers (3:10 p.m. ET). "I think when you have a gut-punching loss like last night and the way the Brewers have been trending the last month or two, this is a perfect spot," he says.
Bell closes out the show with a MLB play: the Diamondbacks Team Total to go Over 3 (-120) against the Padres (8:40 p.m. ET). "[The Padres' Yu] Darvish in his last five starts has given up on average about three earned runs on his own," he says.
