SportsLine's proven experts share their favorite bets on the Early Edge podcast for Wednesday, April 6
Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Larry Hartstein, Mike McClure, Martin Green and Jon (Buckets) Eimer on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for the Masters, the NBA and soccer for Wednesday, April 6, and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.
Buckets starts things off with a parlay from the Bayern Munich-Villareal match (3 p.m. ET): Robert Lewandowski to score and Bayern Munich to win (-110). "The odds for just him scoring right now are -220, so we're throwing that in with Bayern Munich to win to make sure we're getting rid a little bit of that juice at least," he says.
He also likes Both Teams To Score: Yes (-130) in the Middlesbrough-Fulham match (2:45 p.m. ET). "Fulham is not only the top scoring team in all of England but one of the top scoring teams in all of the world, with 92 goals over 38 games," he says.
Green also has a parlay from the Bayern Munich-Villareal match: Bayern Munich to win and Over 1.5 total goals. "I think [Bayern] could concede in this one, but I think they should be able to outscore Villareal because they're just so dynamic going forward," he says.
Green's second play is Everton Draw No Bet (+105) against Burnley (2:30 p.m. ET). "It's easy to see why [Everton] are the underdogs, however they still look more dangerous than Burnley," he says. "They beat Burnley 3-1 at home earlier this season."
McClure's lone play comes from the Masters, which begins on Thursday: former Masters champion Adam Scott (+100) to beat Joaquin Niemann. "I think the course obviously sets up very nicely for [Scott]," he says.
Coach then chimes in with two plays from the Masters. The first is Cameron Smith to finish in the top 10 (+140). "This man just won the Players," he says. "He's the best putter on Tour."
His other play is Tiger Woods to make the cut (+110) in his first tournament since his car accident in 2021. "This dude is gonna be one of the greatest comebacks in the history of sports," Coach says.
Hartstein closes out the show with a pick from the NBA: the Pistons (+9) to cover against the Mavericks (7 p.m. ET). Hartstein calls Detroit the "best covering machine in the NBA. He adds, "[The Pistons] are 19-3 against the number in their last 22."
