Round 1 of the NFL Draft is reviewed by the crew as they are all still in disbelief that the Titans traded young star receiver AJ Brown to Philadelphia. But it's a baseball-heavy picks day.Â
At this point, anyone not fading the Cincinnati Reds is losing money -- thus, Larry says it's a no-brainer to back the Rockies at home against Cincinnati at -120: "The Reds are 3-16 and have scored 59 runs all season. They have the worst ERA in baseball. This is a nice bounce-back spot for Colorado, which returns home after a four-game sweep at the Phillies. Antonio Senzatela has been outstanding in his two home starts, allowing two earned runs over 8.1 innings. Cincinnati rookie Hunter Greene (5.27 ERA) will be pitching at Coors Field for the first time."
Mike likes the White Sox -120 at home vs. the Angels in a game where hitting conditions aren't great due to weather and a good pitching matchup between Noah Syndergaard and Lucas Giolito: "The White Sox have been the most unlucky team in MLB this season by a wide margin. Their actual on-base average is .263Â but their expected is .342. That gap takes them from fifth-worst to fifth-best in the league. The Angels also had to travel."
Allie is on the Red Sox first five-inning line at Baltimore: "The Orioles have lost four in a row and are struggling to score runs. They also are giving Kyle Bradish his first start in MLB. Big edge for the Sox pitching-wise with Rich Hill/Tanner Houck."Â
