Today's picks: Why Red Sox will beat the Rays, plus more MLB and ATP Toronto picks for Tuesday

Coming off a perfect Monday, Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure, Zack Cimini and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get the best plays for Major League Baseball and ATP Toronto for Tuesday, August 10.

Zack is looking forward to a day of better pricing and values in MLB, and Larry is excited about a very busy MLB slate. Mike says there will be several games possibly affected by weather, most notably the A's-Indians matchup. Larry then highlights two NFL Week 1 games in which the lines have moved because of significant personnel issues. 

The Coach drops the SportsLine Play of the Day from the site models. He is backing the daring pick of the Pirates +125 over the Cardinals at 7:05 p.m. ET. This is a Graded A play on the site that is hitting in well over 50 percent of simulations. 

Mike makes his return to the Early Edge with a pair of ATP Toronto selections. He is going with Karen Khachanov -115 over Cameron Norrie. This is an excellent price point for Khachanov and he has major fatigue concerns regarding Norrie. He is also on Jenson Brooksby at +110 on straight sets over Nikoloz Basilashvili, believing Brooksby is coming off some big wins and will keep the momentum going. 

Zack's favorite MLB play is the Red Sox -125 over the Rays at 7:10 p.m. ET. "This is a chance for them to make up for their current streak. They are just four games back of the Rays heading into this series so there's a chance for them to chip away here," he says. Zack also says he likes Eduardo Rodriguez in this matchup, "This year he's had some extreme ups and downs. But he has started to show some steadiness in his last three games." 

Larry is taking the Tigers -111 over the Orioles at 7:05 p.m. ET. Detroit has alternated wins and losses recently, and this should be one of their days to score a victory.
