Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure, Justin Perri and Allan Bell on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get the prime plays for Major League Baseball, the NFL, U.S. Open and Dana White's Contender Series for Tuesday, September 7.

The Coach reminds us that the new Early Edge weekday NFL schedule is ready to launch. Mike talks about how there will be very friendly hitting environments in MLB today, especially in the Dodgers-Cardinals matchup. Allan tells us why to proceed with caution when examining Week 1 NFL totals.

The SportsLine Play of the day from the U.S. Open is Elina Svitolina in straight sets at -118 over Leylah Annie Fernandez at 2 p.m. ET. Ian Parker makes a special appearance with his picks for Dana White's Contender Series. He is taking Saimon Olivera -195 over Jose Alday, who is taking the fight on short notice against a very dangerous submission grappler. Ian likes Mario Sousa -115 over Chidi Njokuani. His parlay also includes the main event, as he is going with Muin Gafurov, Bruno Korea and Josh Quinlan at +160.

Mike's featured MLB play is the Twins and Indians Over 10 runs at 6:10 p.m. ET. He provides a comprehensive weather breakdown to back the pick up. It will be unusually warm in Cleveland and the wind will also play a major factor.

Justin also focuses on the weather as he takes the Rays and Red Sox to go Over 9.5 runs at 7:10 p.m. ET. These teams have already engaged in some recent slugfests. He is also on the Reds to go Over 5.5 runs against the Cubs at 7:40 p.m. ET. The wind will also be at the forefront of this matchup, but more importantly, Cincinnati crushes right-handed pitching.

Allan supplies an Early NFL Edge on Ravens-Raiders, taking Baltimore at -4.5 on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET. "I understand why there is some data out there about home underdogs, especially in Week 1, and especially in prime time. But don't worry about any of that," he says. "The Ravens have outscored their opponents 144-19 in their last three season openers."
