SportsLine's featured experts share their favorite bets on the Early Edge podcast for Friday, Oct. 15.
Jonathan Coachman is joined by top betting experts Allie O'Neill, Allan Bell and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get prime plays for the MLB playoffs, NFL, college football and NHL for Friday, Oct. 15.
The Coach and Larry review a very unique ATS trend involving Tom Brady from Thursday night's game vs, the Eagles. Larry then reveals a recommended approach to NFL teams that will be on bye weeks very soon. Allan shines a light on Green Bay's defensive struggles in the red zone as the Packers ready to face the Bears.Â
The SportsLine Plays of the Day include college football and MLB playoff selections. The Coach is backing Syracuse +13.5 over Clemson at 7 p.m. ET. This is not the same Clemson team of the past decade. In Game 1 of the ALCS, he recommends the Astros -135 over the Red Sox at 8:07 p.m. ET. Houston is rolling on offense and the pitching has been great, too.Â
Allie's NHL pick is from Saturday's Flames-Oilers matchup at 10 p.m. ET. She is taking Edmonton -150 over Calgary. The Flames have lost 11 consecutive home openers, three to the Oilers.Â
Allan's featured college football play is Marshall -11 over North Texas at 7 p.m. ET. He says this will not be a pretty game at all, but it will also be an opportunity for the Thundering Herd to show they are better than how they have looked so far this season.Â
Larry is on the Jaguars +3 over the Dolphins on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET from London. "I think they're the better team. I know they've lost 20 straight," he says. "But there's just a lot of things pointing to the Jaguars. They go to London every year. Miami's got some serious injury concerns. Tua Tagovailoa is coming back off of an injury and really has not been better than Jacoby Brissett significantly this year."Â
