Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure, John Bollman and Calvin Wetzel on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for MLB, WNBA and NHL playoffs on Friday, June 3 and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.

John's MLB play of the day is San Francisco winning in Miami... assuming that game is played with a tropical storm in south Florida: "Elieser Hernandez has struggled this season for the Marlins and he hasn't really been much better at home. He is taking on a Giants offense that is chomping at the bit after facing a dominant Sandy Alcantara yesterday. Alex Cobb is coming off a quality start and he has pitched well on the road this season. I usually find that it's the second day after a long trip that the exhaustion takes place and the Marlins traveled back late from Colorado two nights ago after over 18 innings of baseball that day. The Marlins are also missing key players including Garrett Cooper, Brian Anderson and Joey Wendle."

Mike has been on a roll with team totals and today likes Houston over 4.5 runs (-115) in Kansas City: "We want to pick on Royals pitcher Brady Singer a bit... look at his results and he's been pretty good. Looking at how often he's getting barreled up, though, at 8.1 percent and that ranks him 341st of all pitchers. That's not a good situation. I don't project Singer to last more than five innings and the Royals have the worst bullpen in the majors."

In the WNBA, Calvin is backing the Mystics -11.5 at home vs. the Liberty: "Washington has been one of the best teams against the spread this season and New York one of the worst. I see that continuing for both sides. The Mystics now have star Elena Delle Donne back in the lineup. The Liberty are in a rough travel spot."

Site play: Lightning win as short favorites to win at the Rangers in Game 2 of the NHL's Eastern Conference Finals. Tampa Bay has won 18 straight playoff games following a loss.
