The Blue Jays were the biggest favorites of the 2022 season on Thursday against essentially a Triple-A Royals lineup because Kansas City has so many guys on the COVID restricted list, yet the Royals pulled the upset. Larry expects nothing of the sort tonight and is backing Toronto ace Alek Manoah to get a win (he must get the decision) at -120: "Jays were embarrassed last night and I think they bounce back, but no way we lay -345 on Toronto. Manoah has a 2.21 ERA at home this season and hasn't given up a run in two career starts against Kansas City -- when the Royals actually had a big-league lineup."
Allie is on the Braves' first five inning line at -0.5 in Washington against struggling Nationals pitcher Patrick Corbin (4-10, 5.70 ERA): "Corbin just gave up four earned runs vs. Atlanta last week and six earned runs in 2.2 innings earlier this season. The Nats are the worst first five inning team in the majors."
Coach is red-hot with his picks and has two from MLB: Orioles-Rays Over 7.5 runs "this is a solid 5-4, 6-5 type game" and the White Sox +125 at Minnesota behind hard-throwing Michael Kopech: "Chicago has been on fire and scored 12 last night against the Twins."Â
Andrew has one play from Saturday's UFC Fight Night: Dustin Jacoby at +110 with small upset of Da-Un Jung: "Jacoby has six wins and a draw in his past seven fights. He's the better kick-boxer and will outland Jung, and Jacoby should be a comfortable favorite."
