Today's picks: Why A's will win vs. Rays, plus more MLB, NBA and EPL picks for Friday, May 7

The Coach is joined by featured betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get your prime plays for MLB, the NBA and EPL for Friday, May 7.

The Coach reminds us of why we need to follow Larry on social media for his NBA prop plays. He also mentions a special MMA episode that cannot be missed. Mike then launches into a deep NBA injury report that includes Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown, Jimmy Butler, Kristaps Porzingis, Harrison Barnes, a seemingly full roster of Houston Rockets, and much more. The Coach has some strong advice on the Bucks-Rockets game based on Mike's updates. 

The Friday SportsLine Plays of the Day are a pair of highlighted picks from the EPL. The Coach shares the selections of Leicester City -1.5 over Newcastle City at 3 p.m. ET. The second pick is from the same game, with both teams going over 2.5 goals. 

Mike hurls a trio of MLB picks at us, leading with the Cubs -1.5 over the Pirates at 2:20 p.m. ET. He says Kyle Davies has been awful so far, but the weather conditions will work in his favor. He is also on the Braves  -1.5 over the Phillies at 7:20 p.m. ET. He reveals the advance statistics that back up why we should expect a good outing from Charlie Morton. Mike completes his trio of selections with the A's -125 over the Rays at 9:40 p.m. ET. " I have the A's winning in 58 percent of simulations," he says. "The A's are sneaky good against left-handed pitching. They are a Top 10 in offense in terms of wOBA. When we look for power, they are a top three team in terms of Isolated Power. I think Rich Hill gives up at least one homer in this game."

Larry's featured MLB pick is the Marlins -135 over the Brewers at 7:10 pm. ET. Miami is riding a strong pitching wave, elevated by terrific bullpen work.
