Today's picks: Nuggets-Hawks play on the total, plus college football picks for Friday, Dec. 17

Allan is taking Toledo Over 30.5 points and to cover at -10.5 over Middle Tennessee in the Bahamas Bowl at noon ET. Toledo has scored 49 points in three of its last four games. The Rockets have a 5-1 record ATS in neutral game settings. 

Michael's highlighted NBA selection is the Nuggets and Hawks Over 223 points at 7:30 p.m. ET. "Atlanta has lost five straight at home, and they're going to try some new tricks tonight," he says. "You notice that Nikola Jokic wasn't shooting the ball enough and wasn't taking control enough. Then they said 'don't worry about being a ball hog, do your thing', In the last 10 games, he is averaging 27 points, 13 boards, and nine assists per game, The Nuggets are only 5-5 in those games, but that's drastically better than what they did earlier. When Jokic is running the show and doing it his way, it's a fast offense."
