Today's picks: Featured Mavericks-Clippers prop play, plus more NBA playoffs and MLB picks for Friday

The Coach is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get your prime plays for MLB and the NBA playoffs for Friday, June 4.   

Larry begins by telling us why he is considering a series play on the Bucks as they ready to face the Nets. The Coach then supplies the SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts. He is backing the Red Sox +105 over the Yankees at 7:05 p.m. ET. Nathan Eovaldi definitely gives Boston the pitching edge in this matchup. He also recommends the Clippers -140 over the Mavericks in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs first-round series at 9 p.m. ET. The trends certainly point to another strong outing from the visiting team.  

Mike knows the drill, and gives us a pair of featured MLB plays. He is on the Nationals +101 over the Phillies at 7:05 p.m. ET, as the Philadelphia lineup is just not equipped to deal with Max Scherzer right now. He is also taking the Dodgers and Braves Over nine runs at 7:20 p.m. ET. These will be the best hitting conditions we have seen in Atlanta so far this season. 

The Cardinals are Larry's highlighted MLB play, at -135 over the Reds at 8:15 p.m. ET. Luis Castillo is coming off a terrible month, and St. Louis knows how to handle him. His top NBA prop play is Kristaps Porzingis Under 6.5 rebounds against the Clippers. "Kristaps Porzingis is just not the player he was," he says. "He is not as involved in pick and roll, and he is not getting as many minutes. In the last two games he had 30 and 28 instead of mid-30s. If he gets to mid 30s, he can get seven or more, but I'm expecting around 30 again."
