Today's picks: Chiefs-Chargers top prop play, plus more NFL, NHL and Premier League picks for Thursday, Dec. 16

Allie alerts us to health and safety protocol issues that could affect NHL outlooks on Thursday. Allan reveals two key points about the Thursday night NFL game, including one on Justin Herbert vs. Kansas City, and another on the Chiefs defense. 

The featured NHL selection from Allie is the Senators and Lightning Over six goals at 7 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay was blanked by Ottawa on Saturday, so the Lightning will be seeking revenge. But the Senators will come ready to handle a rebound outing by the Lightning. 

Mike provides the prop pick for Chiefs-Chargers at 8:20 p.m. ET, going with Travis Kelce Over 66.5 receiving yards. "Fortunately, I've been off of him the last few weeks when he has struggled, but I think this is a great time to jump back in," he says. "The Chargers do really struggle against the tight end position. We're expecting a much more competitive game than the Chiefs have faced the last three weeks. This is one where I think they're going to key in and not allow the big play to Tyreek Hill, and I think it's going to leave options open over the middle."

The Coach shares the SportsLine Play of the Day, backing Chelsea -1.5 over Everton in Premier League action at 2:45 p.m. ET. Chelsea has been consistently cashing for the Early Edge crew, and the offense has been stellar. 

Allan hops on board with Mike on the Kelce prop, disclosing some strong numbers that further support the pick. He is also on the Jaguars -3.5 over the Texans on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Trevor Lawrence performed very well against Houston in the first meeting, and Houston will certainly struggle again on the road.
