Today's picks: Bears vs. Steelers showdown best bets, plus more NBA and NHL picks for Monday, Nov. 8

Zack alerts us to an upcoming college basketball show. Larry looks at some eye-opening results and trends from Sunday's NFL action. 

The Coach then drops the SportsLine Play of the Day, backing the Warriors -3.5 over the Hawks at 10 p.m. ET. Golden State has been quietly outstanding and Atlanta has been very bad on the road this year in terms of ATS results. 

Allie's top NHL pick is the Rangers and Panthers Over 5.5 goals at 7 p.m. ET. Florida is surging on offense and recent matchups between the teams indicate another high-scoring affair. The Panthers are most capable of pushing the total over the projected total.

In Bears-Steelers at 8:15 p.m. ET, Zack is on the Steelers at -7. "I like their momentum. They've won three straight and they have done so without a significant push offensively," he said. "In six of seven games, Big Ben has only one TD pass. They rank second to last in total yards. But guess who ranks last? The Chicago Bears." Zack says Ben Roethlisberger will exceed recent expectations and lead the Steelers to a win. 

Larry disagrees, and the week begins with a SportsLine Showdown. He points out that the Steelers' results this season when they have been favored don't point to them covering the spread. Justin Fields is improving and David Montgomery is back.
