We came quite close to seeing the a Seahawks-Broncos Super Bowl 60 matchup in February, but Denver couldn't finish the deal in the AFC title game on its home field. We certainly could see these clubs meet in Super Bowl 61 as they kick off Week 6 from the Mile High City with one of the better Thursday Night Football matchups of the season. I absolutely believe that if Broncos quarterback Bo Nix didn't get injured in overtime of the Divisional Round win over Buffalo that Denver would have beaten visiting New England in the AFC Championship Game and given the Seahawks a lot better Super Bowl 60 than the Patriots did. But the Pats took advantage of facing Jarrett Stidham instead, so kudos to them.
Both Seattle (3-2) and Denver (3-2) had home-field advantage throughout their conference playoffs, but that's most likely not happening with either club this season, even presuming they make the postseason again. Both are just one loss shy of their 2025 regular-season total already.

I would argue Seattle needs this more because it has the NFL's third-toughest slate remaining including this game, while the Broncos are down at 25th.
