The Los Angeles Clippers host the Houston Rockets on Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena as both teams try to rebound from losses. The Clippers (29-31) are in the eighth spot in the Western Conference and are trying to edge closer to .500. Houston (15-41) is last in the conference and has lost six in a row. Both teams come off losses to the Suns, with L.A. falling 103-96 on Tuesday and the Rockets battling to a 124-121 loss in Phoenix on Wednesday night.

Tipoff is set for 10:30 p.m. ET in Los Angeles. Caesars Sportsbook lists Los Angeles as an 1-point favorite in the latest Rockets vs. Clippers odds, and the Over-Under for total points is set at 228.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before you lock in any Clippers vs. Rockets picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 17 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 67-39 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning over $2,200. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The Clippers will be battling to get back on the winning track, and they face a Rockets team that has lost 10 of its past 11 games. Los Angeles is 11th in scoring defense (107.6 point per game) and in the top 10 in shooting defense (44.7 percent) and against the three (33.7). L.A. hasn't been scoring a ton, but the Rockets rank last in the league in allowing 117.6 points per contest. Reggie Jackson (16.6 points per game) and Marcus Morris (15.9) have been carrying the load with Paul George out with a knee injury.

Houston fought hard in the loss to the Suns, and it is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings with L.A. It had six players in double figures in Wednesday's loss, led by Dennis Schroder with 23 and Jae'Sean Tate with 22.  Leading scorer Christian Wood (17.6 per game) and Kevin Porter (13.7) both missed Wednesday's game with illnesses, and their status is uncertain. Alperen Sengun could see more work at center if Wood is out again. He averages almost nine points per game while averaging under 19 minutes.

Now, the model has set its sights on the Rockets vs. Clippers matchup, and we can tell you the model is leaning Under the total. It also has a HUGE spread pick that is hitting in almost 70 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
