NFL Week 8 ATS power ratings: Seahawks return to No. 1, plus ranking all 32 teams
After a decisive win in a battle of top teams, the Seahawks are No. 1 with a bullet while the Chiefs drop to Tier 2

Last week, I moved the Seahawks from the top of my spread power ratings for the first time this season. After a dominant win over the Chiefs, they're back to No. 1.
The Seahawks defense did not allow the Chiefs into the red zone once on Sunday night, holding Kansas City to three field-goal attempts, only one of which was made. Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker had no running room all night, finishing with just 36 yards on 14 carries. New Seahawks running back Emanuel Wilson, signed off the proverbial scrap heap during the offseason, ran for 100 yards on 24 carries and scored the final touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter.
The Seahawks remain the team to beat in the NFL, even at 4-3 on the season. If the offense can continue to limit the turnovers that plagued the team in its three losses, we could see Seattle hoisting the trophy once again in February.
Below, I'll share my Week 8 spread power ratings and go step by step through the notable adjustments. Then, we'll look at my projected spreads for every game, see where we differ from the market, and try to ascertain why those discrepancies exist.
