NFL Week 3 lookahead lines, picks: Proven NFL expert shares next week's best value plays before Week 2 kicks off

Before the first snap of the NFL season, betting lines were posted on Week 2 games. One of them jumped off the screen: Denver -3 at Jacksonville.

To those of us who regarded the public's rosy expectations of the Jaguars as irrational, the time to strike was immediate. Sure enough, the Jags were humbled by Houston 37-21. The Broncos upheld their end by swamping the Giants 27-13.

As a result, the Denver-Jacksonville line doubled to six points, making the lookahead spread a bargain for Broncos backers.
