NFL Week 12 lookahead lines, picks: The three games you should bet a week early from proven NFL expert

With look-ahead lines, my eyes are drawn to games with spreads of 2.5, 3 and 3.5 points. If I fancy a favorite of 2.5 or 3, the inclination is to grab it rather than wait until the following week, when the line could move to a less desirable 3.5 or higher. Similarly, if an underdog of 3 or 3.5 offers appeal, the time to strike might be now. Delaying a decision for a week could mean a drop to the dreaded 2.5 or lower.

Of the 15 matchups in Week 12, over half of them carry spreads of the three aforementioned numbers as these words are being typed. There are three lines at 2.5, three at 3 and two at 3.5.
