NFL Survivor Pool strategy: Best options for Week 2 after Chargers wipe out millions
Avoiding the Chargers in Week 1 was the way to go, and we look at potential pitfalls to avoid in Week 2

It seems like every year there's a team that breaks the hearts of a large portion of Survivor Pool entrants, and this year it was the Chargers. Despite spending much of the summer as the biggest favorite on the board, the Chargers were completely outplayed at home against the Cardinals, taking out 30% or more of many large pools.
Circa Sports in Las Vegas holds two Survivor competitions, one with a $1,000 entry fee and another with a $100,000 entry fee. According to their vice president, Mike Palm, in an appearance on VSIN, the Chargers' loss wiped out $10.3 million in Survivor equity across the two contests. That's a lot of money up in flames on one no-show.
We thankfully had the Chargers listed as an Avoid in our Week 1 strategy piece and got through with our touts of the Jaguars and Raiders. We'll again take a look at the teams you should avoid and which teams make the most sense, depending on the size of your pool.
