We've reached Week 12 of the 2025 NFL regular season as playoff contenders and pretenders have really started to separate themselves. Unfortunately, injuries have derailed quite a few teams, and it feels like we're seeing more quarterbacks banged up than we usually have in one given season. And many signal-callers who are healthy have been benched due to poor play.

We'll be seeing plenty of backups under center this weekend, and that's a key factor for Week 12 NFL spread bets from NFL betting expert Mike Tierney, who is 29-22-2 (+421) over his last 53 NFL picks. Tierney has issued three against-the-spread best bets for Sunday's games, with all three contests involving a team starting a backup. Here's what Tierney has to say about Week 12 and his expert best bets.

So what are Mike Tierney's best bets for Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season? Join SportsLine right now to see picks from an expert who is 29-22-2 over his last 53 NFL picks this season!
