Last week in this space, we suffered our first losing week of the season – and first with more than one loss on our NFL 6-point teaser selections – as the Falcons (+8.5) were blanked 16-0 by the Buccaneers in an ugly mud fest, the Cowboys (-1) collapsed again on their home turf in a 33-30 overtime loss to the Cardinals and the short-handed Eagles (+11.5) fell apart late in their 27-10 loss to the Commanders.
This result served as a stark reminder that this is the point in the NFL season in which spreads become airtight and increasingly difficult to beat, so we will endeavor to be even more selective with our 6-point teaser leg recommendations.
