May's first two NBA playoff games are set for Monday. The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics will battle it out in an Eastern Conference matchup before the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns run it back with Game 2 of their second-round pairing. Looking for the best DFS choices on DraftKings at varying price points? We've got you covered with some quality stud, mid-tier, and value targets.

Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS over four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent more than a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Now he's turned his attention six plays in Monday's two-game slate.

One player Ameer loves: Tyrese Maxey at $6,900. "Many eyes will be on Paul Reed with Joel Embiid listed as questionable on Monday, but Maxey has been extremely consistent when the big man can't suit up this year. While the speedy guard was a little bit of a letdown in the Philadelphia 76ers' closeout game against the Brooklyn Nets, he averaged more than 28.0 points per game through 10 appearances without Embiid over the course of the 2022-23 season," Ameer says about the matchup.
