Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS more than four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent more than a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. He hit big on Giannis Antetokounmpo as his top play last Friday. Now he's looking at a pair of stud, mid-tier, and value plays for Monday.

One play Ameer loves: Nic Claxton at $8,100. "Claxton is one of the NBA's hottest big men right now. He's racked up eight double-doubles in his last 10 games and averaged 18.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 3.2 blocks since Kevin Durant went down with an MCL sprain. Ben Simmons is dealing with a knee injury of his own, so Claxton should continue to do some heavy lifting on the interior," Ameer said about the matchup.
