We're approaching 2021-22 season's second weekend of NBA action and Friday's seven-game slate is packed with quality value plays. Basketball DFS is often filled with surprises, and quite a few players had breakout performances on Thursday. Montrezl Harrell and Maxi Kleber capitalized on injuries to put together monster stat lines. We've identified some candidates who could give you the most bang for your buck on Friday before the first tip at 7 p.m. ET.

Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS over four years ago. Two of the value plays Ameer gave out on CBS HQ on Thursday returned at least 10X value. Now he's turned his attention to Friday's seven-game slate.

One player Ameer loves: T.J McConnell. "McConnell isn't as cheap as most people would like him to be, so I expect his rostership to be under 5 percent even if Caris LeVert doesn't make his season debut on Friday against the Nets. He was a borderline top-20 point guard on DraftKings and FanDuel last year as a backup," Ameer says about the matchup.
