NBA DFS Helper: Obi Toppin could shine among top DraftKings options on Wednesday
NBA DFS analyst Ameer Tyree splits his favorite Wednesday DraftKings plays into three tiers
The usual suspects came out on top in Tuesday's massive 12-game NBA slate. Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid crushed the field with 40-point double-doubles. Neither will be a part of Wednesday's six-game slate, though. Need help finding the best value available ahead of lock? We've picked out three at various price points ahead of the action.
Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS over four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent over a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Ameer highlighted Anthony Davis, Alperen Sengun, and Moses Brown on Tuesday. All three returned adequate value. Now he's turned his attention to Wednesday's six-game slate.
One play Ameer loves: Obi Toppin. "Toppin could provide similar value against Brooklyn in the second half of a back-to-back. The Nets are just 2-11 straight up with no rest this season and have given up an average of 113 points per game to opposing teams. Toppin's scored 20 points in his last two games and will likely eclipse 30 minutes for the fourth time this season with Julius Randle out for the year. Toppin's averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game as a starter this season." Ameer says about the matchup.
