Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS over four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent more than a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Now he has his eye's on three value plays at different positions to kick off Week 5.

One stud Ameer loves: Malachi Flynn. "Fred VanVleet and Gary Trent Jr. (hip) will miss the Toronto Raptors' first game of the week, so Flynn seems likely to get his first start of the year. He notched 16.5 fantasy points in 23 minutes off the bench on Saturday and has thrived as a starter when given a shot in the past," Ameer says about the matchup.
