NBA DFS Helper: Fred VanVleet leads Friday's list of top DraftKings plays

The NBA didn't offer much action on Saint Patrick's Day. Only the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic hit the hardwood on Thursday. However, Friday's main slate will include 12 games and their are plenty of quality value plays worth taking a look at ahead of lock. We've picked out a trio that stand out and divided them into tiers. 

Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS over four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent over a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Now he's turned his attention to Friday's 12-game slate.

One play Ameer loves: Fred VanVleet. "VanVleet had a modest performance his last time out against the Lakers but still flirted with a triple-double with 11 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists while shooting 3-for-14 from the field. He paced Toronto in minutes with 40 on Monday and is will likely carry a similar workload against Los Angeles's abysmal defensive backcourt on Friday." Ameer says about the matchup.
