The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent more than a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Fred VanVleet was his favorite play from Wednesday, and the Toronto Raptors point guard exploded for more than 50 fantasy points. Now Ameer has his eyes on three players for Friday.

One stud Ameer loves: Desmond Bane. "Bane eclipsed points for the fourth time this season on Wednesday by tallying 32 points, six rebounds, and six assists against the San Antonio Spurs. The Memphis Grizzlies wing has made another leap and his mix of scoring and playmaking could wreak havoc against the Minnesota Timberwolves." Ameer says about the matchup.
