The 2025 NBA Playoffs continue on Tuesday with Game 5 matchups featuring the Pacers vs. Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Nuggets vs. Thunder at 9:30 p.m. ET. While Donovan Mitchell's (ankle) status is murky, there are still plenty of other healthy stars in the NBA DFS player pool. Tyrese Haliburton, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic will look to power their respective teams to victory. However, players of this status also come with hefty NBA DFS price tags. Thus, which less expensive players could you roster in daily Fantasy basketball lineups? T.J. McConnell has at least 12 points and seven assists in back-to-back outings, but can he maintain that production as an NBA DFS pick as the series shifts back to Cleveland?
Before setting your NBA DFS strategy on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel for Tuesday, May 13, you need to see what Mike McClure has to say.

On Monday, McClure identified Knicks guard Jalen Brunson as one of his core NBA DFS picks on both sites. The result: Brunson had 39 points, 12 assists and five rebounds, returning 66.2 points on DraftKings and 62 points on FanDuel to provide strong value for NBA DFS lineups. Anybody who included him in their lineups could have been well on the way to a profitable day!
For Tuesday, one of McClure's top NBA DFS picks is Pacers power forward Pascal Siakam, who is listed at $6,300 on DraftKings and $6,800 on FanDuel. Another part of McClure's optimal NBA DFS strategy includes Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($10,000 on DraftKings and $10,600 on FanDuel). The MVP favorite is coming off a full stat line of 25 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals in OKC's Game 4 win. After a quiet postseason opener, Gilgeous-Alexander now has at least 25 points or a double-double in each of his last seven playoff games.
McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Tuesday! This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You absolutely need to see who it is before locking in any lineups.
