Before you set your Saturday MLB lineups on DraftKings or FanDuel, you need to hear what Mike McClure has to say. McClure is a DFS pro with more than $1 million in career winnings, and he's cashed huge in multiple tournaments in NBA, NFL, golf, NHL and NASCAR in the past year.
And when it comes to MLB, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book, "Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune" as a top MLB DFS player, McClure has also used his wOBA (Weighted On-Base Average) Model to return over $2,700 on $100 MLB bets over the past two seasons.
On Friday, McClure rostered Phillies first baseman Carlos Santana at just $3,200 on FanDuel. The result: Santana exploded for a home run and three RBIs -- returning 28.7 DFS points.
For Saturday's main slate, McClure loves Twins first baseman Joe Mauer as a value play at $2,400 on FanDuel and $3,600 on DraftKings. He's recommending that you stack him with teammate and second baseman Brian Dozier ($3,600 on FanDuel, $4,500 on DraftKings), who is coming off a career year in 2017.
McClure is also targeting a pitcher who put up massive numbers in 2017 and gets a dream matchup on Saturday. The stars are aligning for him to go for 60 points on FanDuel and 40 on DraftKings. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.... So what are the optimal MLB DFS tournament lineups for Saturday?
